love the thought and the idea of just working on the blank canvas. just to see what might emerge. i am not an artist, as the world knows it, but i have the “talent/gift” to paint a beautiful thing called “my life”. sometime i feel like God has wanted my life to be a picasso while i have been satisfied to be a norman rockwell. certainly good, but maybe not quite all that He had imagined for me.

thanks christa for always hearing the lyrics! i admire how you listen and understand. i could hear that song a hundred times and would most likely not grasp any of the lyrics. i think that is what makes you such an amazing pastor, your gift to hear what is really being said and seeing the hidden beauty and love and joy of people. i will aspire to fill my canvas… love, karl
